I will personally discuss whether URUHIME MOMOKO can moisturize atopic skin.

First, the skin’s surface is lined up like bricks with cells called keratinocytes. There are gaps between these bricks, and if these gaps are not filled, moisture will be lost.

The main ingredient that fills this gap is ceramide. (Light blue circle in the figure below)

On the other hand, studies have shown that people with atopic skin have low ceramide levels and weakened skin barrier function.
